Final Fantasy 9 - The Darkest Message
Artist's Comments:This is a symphonic metal remix of my favourite two songs from FF9, The Dark Messenger and the Battle theme. And further I don't really have to say but....I hope you enjoy listening to it. I sure enjoyed making it.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Zelda's Lullaby
Artist's Comments:A simple idea, a simple premise.  Most lullabies have lyrics, why not make some to Zelda's Lullaby?  The basis of the words was to think of the origin of the song, what Zelda's ancestors might have sung rather than really connecting it to the game.  There is a game reference, though.  Travelling to where worlds meet is meant towards the Temple of Time or the idea of moving back and forth through the Light and Dark worlds in Link to the Past

Lufia - Metastatic Bloodline
Artist's Comments: I've done this combination of themes twice before, once in a pure cover and another in a spontaneous piano splurge.  This time I wanted to really sit down and think about an arrangement.  It's a typical rock arrangement of Fear and Courage and The Fortress theme from Lufia and the Fortress of Doom.  Hope you all enjoy it :-)

Hey everybody. I'm back! Sorry for my hiatus the last few weeks, I had some internet issues and the like, so I asked my compatriot Matt to step in for me. I hope he treated you all well.

Luckily for this week's hungry listener, we have 3 submissions for your perusal. First of is TheNelis with a rockin' Final Fantasy 9 remix. It's been quite a while since TheNelis' last submission and I couldn't be happier to hear this. Second up to the plate is the recent repeat submitter DragonAvenger, with a short lyrical arrangement of Zelda's Lullaby. Lastly, we have Darangen's yearly premier with a fantastic arangement from Lufia, Metastatic Bloodline. A truly awesome lineup of tunes for my first day back on the job. I thank all the submitters, and I am sure the listeners do to.

The next few weeks should be interesting around here. We have a new submission format, a new contest of sorts, a live sound seminar and a working archive all on the horizon. Stay tuning in the coming weeks to see the new developments.
