>> OmniArt 2005 Round Four!
I guess nobody had a few hundred spare fan art submissions sitting around this week because we only received a handful. If you missed last week's column, I announced that the grand prize for OmniArt 2005 will be at least US $500 in cash and that I'd up that amount by one dollar for each submission we received this past week. While we did receive a few, nobody deluged the fan art inbox with submissions to drive up the total.
So instead, what I'll do is this. For every contest submission we receive in the next three rounds, I'll add another dollar to the grand prize pot, up to a maximum grand prize of $750. That should help get that prize up a little bit more.
Speaking of contest rounds, without further ado, here's Round Four!

The Challenge
Round Four's challenge is simple to state, but it could prove to be the biggest challenge yet for some artists who like their reds, yellows, and blues. For this round, your challenge is to create a piece of black & white RPG fan art. As the challenge title implies, all the shades of grey are fine, too. That's the only rule! You can do anything else you like with your submission, but your palette is limited to just black, white, and greys.
Except as specified above, all other normal fan art submission guidelines apply. Please be sure to include "[CONTEST] Artist Name - Title of Work" in your submission e-mail's subject line. All entries should be submitted to fanart@rpgamer.com by 11:59pm PST on Monday, May 23, 2005. Please note that we cannot accept entries after this deadline for any reason. For confirmation that your entry was received, please include an automatic read receipt request with your e-mail.

Judging Criteria
- 60% Implementation of Idea
- 30% Creativity of Idea
- 10% Fulfillment of Contest Guidelines
As usual, if you have questions about the contest, or if you just want to double-check if your idea meets the guidelines, send them to fanart@rpgamer.com with "[CONTEST] Question" in the subject line.
