"On the Keys" is officially over! Matt Russo here, filling in for Matthew Foster while he sorts out the final touches on the results from the first audition phase of Splendid Performance. I must say, I personally was very impressed with what was submitted. Congratulations to everyone, who submitted work, and to those who didn't, the next audition phase will be announced next week! Don't be afraid to give it a shot.
This week we bring you the last few of the Splendid Performance "On the Keys" submissions. First is Disturbed's take on light-world themes from The Legend of Zelda - A link to the past. I must say, this is a treat. Masterful work with the piano in this submission. Alongside Disturbed's submission is a delicate treatment of a Dragon Quest II theme from Rexy. This too is wonderful work with the piano that really pangs deep in the heart. Rounding out this week is Dhsu's Oracle of Piano from The Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Ages/Season. Dhsu proves that the piano is indeed a versitile instrument, as demonstrated by all during this audition phase.
Finally the moment you've all been waiting for. Result's are in. You can see who reigns as master of the keys on the results page. Congratulations to all who auditioned, and see you next phase!
That's all for this week from me. Stay tuned next week for the second Audition phase for Splendid Performance! Until then, keep our inbox happy.
