I was thinking about the challenge I posed for this month and began coming up with ideas for a remix of my own, if only to prove that it wouldn't be too challenging.
And, wow, it's actually a challenge for me. Even just to come up with two themes that would balance well with each other is proving difficult. Good luck to those of you who are taking part in this month's challenge; I don't know if I'll have the time or mental capability to partake in it, myself. How embarassing.
Short list this week, although no less good than any other week. KateZivi has submitted a nice, albeit short, MIDI on a theme from Final Fantasy X-2. It's not too often that MIDIs are made of newer games, and it's refreshing to hear them. They're not nearly as complicated as these new-fangled mp3s and the like, and KateZivi has done well to keep it simple while presenting a good arrangement of the theme.
Sorry to make this so brief, but I have a rehearsal in a little while, and I don't know if I'll be back at a reasonable hour to update, nor if I'll be sober enough to do so. Plus, I'm in the middle of conducting re-interviews for curatorship. And I'm doing much better this week--thanks for asking.
My first real midi attempt with self-made parts. I like how this came out. I tried to put is some of the aspects of all the version of this song that have been done, but it really does sound like a midi in the end. I hope you all enjoy it.
