Archive Progress
    Pretty much done.

Well, my email backlog is still kinda there, but it's smaller than it was a few days ago. In fact...I'm hoping to clear it before I go away for the weekend (again!).

I'm taking down the artist archive temporarily for a few reasons:

1. It's out of date
2. People keep telling me it's out of date
3. I'm tired of 2 (and 1, but it's more 2 than 1).

It shall return in a different iteration somewhere down the line.

Tamashii (a/k/a Wincy Cheung) and Tom Plets return (!) with a MIDI and mp3, respectively. Tamashii's Final Fantasy III arrangement, while being made quickly, carries a certain charm that most novice sequencers fail to capture, and it continues the trend of exceptional MIDIs that has been occurring recently. Tom's submission from Final Fantasy XI is good as well, and gives a solid impression of what the atmosphere is like in an area that some of us (namely myself) may never reach.

Another week, another excuse for me slacking off and not doing my work. I'm pleased with the steadiness of submissions, so much so that I've stopped complaining about the small number of submissions altogether! Good work to our submitters, and keep it up!

This week's audio selections
MIDI Rock Go Above the Clouds! (Final Fantasy III)
Tamashii a/k/a Wincy Cheung - website

An old arrangement, which took less than 15 minutes to create. Worked on this for a rpgmaker2k2 game. Never played FF3 before so I had to work from a shoddy 1 minute recording of blippy bloppy sounds. So I have no idea how accurate this is.

mp3 New Age The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah (Final Fantasy XI)
Tom Plets

I did this remix embellishing this song's dramatic style. The dynamics vary greatly which change the feeling as the song progresses. It is a strait forward remix leaving out most accompaniment but substituted with large chords.
