    Pretty much done.

Tiny update this week. Not in terms of filesize, but in terms of numbers. Sadness.

That's okay, though. In addition to a seven and three-quarter minute arrangement I finished a little less than a week ago, Ezekiel Morgano has submitted an ultra-cute chocobo theme remix. It's so cute! Everyone should listen to it. And since it's a 9 KB file and not a 10 MB one, there's no excuse.

On a personal note, I fear I might not be strong enough to resist my addiction to Final Fantasy XI. Just as an alcoholic will always be an alcoholic, I'm finding it incredibly difficult to keep my mind away from the game. I quit a few months ago, and by now my old character has probably been rendered forfeit, so I might be joining the RPGamer staff this time around.

But like I said when I first joined in January, this is probably the stupidest thing I could do right now.

Anyway, enjoy the music this week, and keep the music coming so I can update next week!

This week's audio selections
MIDI Classical Variations on a Chocobo (Final Fantasy series)
Ezekiel Morgano

My first arrangment of a game piece. It's not much...but I was bored...so what do you expect? Enjoy.

mp3 Classical Geheimnis der Erde - I Der Anfang und ein Gebet (Soul Blazer series)
Patrick Waters

This is the first movement in a symphonic fantasy based on the music of the Soul Blazer trilogy. Sequenced to reflect the acoustics of a live ensemble, volume levels might seem slightly low in quieter parts and quite loud in fuller sections. I used a more conservative ensemble than usual for my orchestral arrangements, utilizing basic woodwinds only in pairs, four horns, three trumpets, two trombones, bass trombone, tuba, piano, harp, strings (standard ensemble), and percussion (two timpani parts, cymbal, snare, bass, chimes, tam-tam).
