White Wolf Publishing has announced that roleplaying game author Monte Cook will be producing a special unique version of World of Darkness, the company's horror-genre roleplaying setting. This will be the author's last roleplaying product, and it is scheduled for release in time for Gen Con 2007.
"We've invited Monte to come play in our sandbox and can't wait to see what kind of castles he constructs. This opportunity to work with him on a project set in the horror realm, re-imagining things in Monte's own inimitable style is something we know will be exciting to our fans and the gaming industry in general," commented Rich Thomas, Creative Director for White Wolf. Further details will be released on White Wolf's official website as they become available.
Fantasy Productions, the company producing the latest version of the Shadowrun RPG, have opened a direct online store as www.fanprodirect.com. Additionally, the Total Warfare Limited Edition supplement for Classic Battletech can only be ordered through the new store.
