First and foremost, I must apologize for the tardiness of this update. For some bizarre reason, I couldn't access the site's server last Friday.
Round 4 of "The Grand Audition 2009" comes to a close, and this round's victor won by a margin of less than half a percent! Unbelievable! And I thought the 1.32% margin in Round 1 was small! View the score breakdown in the round page. Well done and congratulations to all participants! And so, we have four superbly talented remixers participating in the Final Round. Check back next week as I reveal the theme for the final round of competition! As it is the last round, you guys can bet that it'll be tough. The showdown is bound to be... legendary.
As for the feature of this update, I bring you the winner of Round 4 of the previous competition of the same name. Requiem is an offering by the superbly talented Wen-Bin "Virtuoso" Tan and features textures, techniques, and musical colors so varied that it would take forever if I were to elucidate them one by one. As such, I shall let the music speak for itself. The price for such variation, however, is its considerable length. Nevertheless, it is a worthy addition to any game music aficionado's remix playlist. If you haven't gotten a copy of this piece, go ahead and download it now.
