The submission period for Round 4: Vox Populi of "The Grand Audition 2009" has ended. With just one submission coming into the weekend, I was afraid I'd have to give the win to that piece's submitter by default. Luckily, a couple more came in yesterday, just when I was about to lose all hope. I will post the rest of the contenders next week, so check back by then to score your favorite sky-high.
The featured piece for today is Rob "leveler" Kang's entry for Round 4—the piece I spoke of earlier that was to win by default had the other two submitters not presented their remixes in time. I'm pretty sure he's also relieved that things worked out. Winning by default just doesn't give you the same feeling of pride and accomplishment. As before, I shall hold my tongue and comment only during the announcement of winners at the end of the round. In the meantime, go ahead and listen to it to your heart's content.
That's about it. I'll try to resume playing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor now. I really want to finish the game, but I can't seem to find the time. And now that my groupmates and I have shifted into Pediatrics, I'm pretty sure all gaming (and remixing) activity will have to be put on hold for the time being. Anyway, enjoy the weekend, folks! Don't forget to check back next week!
