You may be wondering why I am already featuring the previous competition's winner for Round 3. If you've read this update's title, then you know precisely what happened. The submission period for Round 3: 3x3 of "The Grand Audition 2009" has come, and yes, I have received no submissions. Shall I extend the round as I have twice before? No. As such, this update marks the end of Round 3. Since there shall be no presentation of competitors, voting period, and announcement of winners, then Round 4 shall be bumped earlier by three weeks and shall be announced next week. I hope it won't be a massive failure like this round. Just one more to go before the finals!
Now, following what I had started in the previous two rounds, the piece featured today is alena [nerv mix]. Unfortunately, the artist's comments and his email are no longer in the archives as his entry was deleted some time ago due to his rather hurtful outbursts in the forums after the finals. Nevertheless, it's a very nice piece, so grab a copy now if you haven't already.
