I apologize for the tardiness of today's update. I'm post-duty again from the emergency room complex and upon returning home, I crashed onto the sofa and was knocked out before I knew it.
As for the piece we shall be using this update, don't be confused now; Eye of the Tiger is not, and will never be, part of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor's soundtrack. The piece being featured today is a parody written by Michael Cunningham for the said game, or, more appropriately, as part of a review the he made of the said game. To our delight (and shock), Chris Privitere, podcast producer extraordinaire, breathed life into Mac's creation and posted it in the forums. Sam Marchello suggested that I feature the piece here in Sound Test and I wondered, "Why not?" It might not be like the submissions usually featured in Sound Test, or at least not like the ones I've used since being curator, but I thought it achieves the goal of entertaining the readers. Go ahead! Download it. It's fun stuff, I swear. Disclaimer: Prepare to die from infinite amusement.
Just a reminder for all those planning to join Round 3: 3x3 of "The Grand Audition 2009," two weeks remain before the submission period ends, so you'd better pick up the pace. As for me, I haven't even had the time to fix and update the banner. Argh! So much work, so little time!
Anyway, I hope this update made your day! Enjoy the festivities today and have a great weekend!
