Yes, it's once again time for another Saving Throw. This week, there are two new hall of fame entries. Kularian Arieus returns with our featured story about his party's difficulties in a cave occupied by gnolls and a evil mage. Macstorm, one of our editorialists, submits his first story about an adventure he had long ago where he had a spider monkey named Bongo. There's also news about White Wolf opening official Wikis, the need for more Shadowrun gamemasters, and a new X-Men: The Last Stand trading card set on the way.
And Macstorm earns himself a golden caret for the mistake which cost him his pet. Thanks for sharing, Mac.

With that, let's move on to the Saving Throw!
Gaming Tip of the Week
"Always expect everyone to do the stupidest thing possible, that way you won't be as surprised when they do just that."
A paladin and party enter a cave suspected to be home to many gnolls to help the city where they live, but the battle turns out to be more they bargained for. Only a heroic sacrifice gives them a chance to continue on.
This last week, White Wolf Publishing announced the creation of official Wikis for the World of Darkness and Exalted role playing games. The World of Darkness Wiki, announced here, will reportedly support both the new and old World of Darkness games. The old World of Darkness games, including Vampire: The Masquerade, were ended in January 2004 when White Wolf Publishing brought about the long-awaited Time of Judgment, and new World of Darkness games, including Vampire: The Requiem, were launched in August 2004. The Exalted Wiki, announced here, was timed to coincide with the recent launch of Exalted, Second Edition.
FanPro Looking For Shadowrun Gamemasters for GenCon Indy 2006
Fantasy Productions is looking for Shadowrun gamemasters for GenCon Indy 2006, which is scheduled for August 10 to 13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. There are over 100 Shadowrun events scheduled for this four day event, and they don't have enough gamemasters. Interested gamemasters will be responsible for "brainstorming adventure ideas, writing blurbs for the convention booklet, and running the games during the con." They are willing to accommodate gamemasters who don't wish to write their own adventures, as well.
Those interested are asked to send an email to runningcow@gmail.com. They are also interested in hearing from gamemasters who may want to run Shadowrun events at Origins 2006, which is scheduled from June 28 to July 2 in Columbus, Ohio.
X-Men: The Last Stand Trading Card Set Coming in May
Upper Deck Entertainment has announced a partnership with Rittenhouse Archives, a science-fiction collectibles company, to create and distribute trading card sets based on upcoming character-based Marvel feature films. Rittenhouse Archives, under sublicense from Upper Deck Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment, plans to release a trading card set based on the upcoming X-Men: The Last Stand feature film from 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios. This new set will contain never-before-seen images from the film, and will offer the chance for fans to get a hold of cards autographed by X-Men actors Patrick Stewart and Kelsey Grammar. It is slated for a release sometime in May.
And so it ends. . .
Remember, I want to know if you're interested in gamemastering or roleplaying in #savingthrow on EsperNet. Throw me a line if you are.
Otherwise, the Saving Throw will return next week, as always! See you then.
