It takes awhile to get into the meat of this one; it kind of starts off sounding more like it's from Super Metroid.
I would have liked to see a bit more of the original theme incorporated into the piece, myself. Anyhow, the piano is quite
well done, and the choice of instrumentation was quite effective indeed, I think, in creating the mood that you shot for.
It's very mysterious, and uses the main theme to build up- though the "crisis" version of it suddenly caught me by
surprise. Very interesting to listen to, and well put-together.
Redbeastmage
An interesting take on its theme here, Christian really goes out on a limb to make his piece unique. The feel is very interesting, although it feels a bit to odd at times with cresendos and sudden pauses. I think it fit the theme well, but it lost a lot of it's connection to the original work, almost so far as to make it hard to relate it back.
