Fermat's Last Theorem: Simply a wonderful piece of music. You were quite bold in your selection as far as the source piece was concerned, but I think it got the effect that you wanted. You are exceptionally brilliant in remixing fast themes into slow, lyric segments. Since the rhythm and mood of your original theme was somewhat similar to your source piece, it was wise of you to introduce the source piece in a variation and arrangement that contrasted beautifully with your original theme. The source piece doesn't appear in its more recognizable form until well into the piece, at which point the piece suffers a little from the similarity of your source piece with your original piece, making it seem a bit long and drawn out. The sound samples were very nice, but I can't give a score of 10 simply because Tom Plets's samples are superior to everything else I've heard. As you may not know, I take all the pieces I've graded into consideration when I give out scores. All in all, this piece is such an accomplishment in composition. Well done and congratulations.

Macstorm: Great job picking something few people will ever have heard before, points for bravery. The original theme is a great blend with the game piece. The only complaint I can strike against this one is that it went on a little too long. If I want to hear a long piece of music, I want a little more variety throughout. Still, a very original and enjoyable remix.

Nyx: There is so much intensity in this piece; I don't think I'd know where to begin on even trying to critique it. I think what I am most fond of with this piece is that it starts out very simple and elegant, and then as the piece goes on, it builds with such grace and intensity. My only real complaint is that unfortunately I don't know who Odio is. The timbre in the piano is just so pristine, and as it works with the drums it feels as though I'm a villain attempting to change destiny, but the world is changing, and I'm not ready to back down (corny as this sounds!)

JuMeSyn: Piano stays constant throughout. Doesn't seem to stray too far from the source but adds extras throughout. My major caveat is with the drums that remind me of sampled 80's bands and sound falser than the rest, which may have been the intent but doesn't make the overall sound like a highly produced effort.
