[04/05/2009] Yeesh, when you have them piling up for two weeks, the number gets huge. That took forever! Fifteen reviews for your reading pleasure today.
As I mentioned last week, we're going to be making hiring decisions in the next few days, so applicants should keep an eye on their inboxes. I'd like to thank everyone for the incredible amount of response we got over this. For those who aren't hired, please don't let that prevent you from continuing to write reviews. Staff turnover in RPGamer is fairly high, so we're looking for new people on a fairly regular basis. With this many applicants, unfortunately some people aren't going to be able to get a job here, but we will keep your names on file and may contact you in the future. Continuing to contribute and improving your writing skills will definitely help bring attention to you in the event we're looking for someone.
In other news, I finally finished Pokémon Platinum (roughly 65 hours on the clock, but I spent a lot of time screwing around), so expect a review of that very soon. At this point I have a rest for a few days until Phantasy Star Portable arrives at my doorstep. I was also finally able to see Slumdog Millionaire last night, and it's a terrific movie. I love stories filled with poetic irony, and that's pretty much Slumdog Millionaire's entire story. If you haven't seen it yet, definitely give it a watch. The bollywood dance number at the end is pretty superfluous, but awesome at the same time.
Now Playing: Not a damn thing.
