Closing Time |
[10/07/2007] If you're a Canuck like me, you're probably looking forward to the inevitable Thanksgiving day feast that awaits us tomorrow. If you're one of those crazy Americans who celebrate Thanksgiving in November (pfft, November! You crazy Americans!), well, tough luck.
The upcoming festivities have inspired me to invent a new holiday feast for us all this year. I'm sure most, if not all of you, are familiar with the Turducken. It's a chicken wrapped in a duck wrapped in a turkey. That, of course, fails to meet the fantastical desires of we RPGamers, and thus I've developed a more RPG-centric version of the dish—the Pridgeybo. This scrumptious delicacy consists of a Pidgey stuffed in a Prinny stuffed in a Chocobo. Needless to say, the end result is to die for. Especially with that Prinny in there.
Today's reviews are Eternal Sonata, Dragoneer's Aria, Lord of the Rings Online, and Growlanser Generations. The backlog is still packed, though the staff reviews are starting to whittle down. Reader reviews have been a bit scarce, though, so if you've played a good RPG lately (and with the recent boom of high quality titles, it's easy to assume you have), perhaps you should think about reviewing it?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
