After the re-emergence of Ni-Oh at the Tokyo Game Show in September, Koei Tecmo has unveiled the second trailer for the Team Ninja-developed action RPG, as well as six new screenshots. Rather than a cinematic story trailer, the video serves to highlight the game's sword-heavy, lightning-fast combat, reminiscent of Team Ninja's famed entries in the Ninja Gaiden series. Also evident are several of the game's locations, such as a cave, flaming rooftops, an ancient Japanese village, even inside what appears to be the hull of a ship.
Included as well are six new screenshots that depict some of the various enemy designs protagonist William will face, and give glimpses of him using a traditional spear as weapon against the foes drawn directly from Japanese folklore. The PS4-exclusive is slated to release in Japan in 2016.
