Atlus announced two new games in the Etrian Odyssey universe today, the first of which is Etrian Odyssey V. Atlus did little else besides announcing it exists in a short teaser trailer, including failing to mention a platform, but given the history of the series it seems likely that it will be a 3DS title.

The other game announced is Etrian Odyssey and the Mystery Dungeon, a collaboration between Atlus and Spike Chunsoft to make an Etrian Odyssey-themed Mystery Dungeon. This would trade Etrian Odyssey's first-person dungeon crawling for top-down, randomized dungeon crawling. This title is set to release in Japan on March 5, 2015 on the 3DS. Currently, neither game has been announced for release outside of Japan.
