Square Reveals Jump Festival Plans
Square

Following up earlier reports of Square's intention to display some of its titles at Japan's upcoming Jump Festival, the company has revealed further details regarding the specific show plans. The festival will feature the recently released Final Fantasy IX and The Bouncer, Square's upcoming PlayStation2 action title. As well, Square mentioned that it will be bringing along some "Final Fantasy Goods," which may allude to anything from game merchandise to another plethora of Vivi dolls.

Unfortunately, Final Fantasy X wasn't mentioned for the event, as many had hoped it would be. The Bouncer is scheduled for release the day of the festival, so this may simply be Square's way of pushing that title. Of course, the possibility that Square might surprise its audience with something new shouldn't be completely ruled out either. RPGamer will bring you any further news that becomes available from the Jump Festival, scheduled for December 23rd and 24th.
