Bandai Namco has released information on two of the characters appearing in Code Vein. Along with these two characters came some more screenshots of the game, including a brief look at a couple of the game's bosses.

The first of the two characters detailed is Mia Karnstein. Mia is a wandering Revenant who travels with her brother for whom she would do anything to protect. In combat, she uses a bayonet-esque weapon that can function at a range. The other character is Yakumo Shinonome. Previously a mercenary, Yakumo is now a well-respected Revenant within humanity's final stronghold, Vein. 

Code Vein takes place in a post-apocalyptic world created after the appearance of the Thorns of Judgment. After arriving in Vein, the player will choose a companion from many of the world's inhabitants in order to explore and discover a path leading home. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018.
