Sega's Valkyria Chronicles reboot, Valkyria: Azure Revolution, put in an appearance at this week's TGS, bringing with it a new trailer. The video focuses primarily on the game's story, showing various major players in the game. Valkyria: Azure Revolution take place in the year 1853 of a fictional calendar as its world goes through an industrial and societal upheaval and the small nation of Jutland goes to war against superpower of the Rus Empire.
Valkyria: Azure Revolution is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Playstation Vita on January 19, 2017. A version 2.0 demo is set to be made available for PlayStation 4 in early October, featuring many changes as a result of feedback to the Battle Demo Ver. 1.0 released with Japanese copies of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. No announcement has been made regarding a western release for Valkyria: Azure Revolution.
