Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct presentation today for both North America and Europe, primarily focusing on upcoming releases for the Nintendo 3DS. The presentations for both regions began with a quick look at Pokémon Sun & Moon, including the reveal of the Normal/Dark Alolan form of Rattata. It also showed off more of the game's new special Z-moves, with the announcement that those who buy Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon before January 11, 2017, will receive a Munchlax equipped with a Z-crystal. When the Munchlax evolves into Snorlax, this will let it do the Z-move Pulverizing Pancake. Pokémon Sun & Moon are due out for Nintendo 3DS in North America on November 19, 2016, and in Europe on November 23, 2016.

Switching to another long-running series, it was also revealed that the Wii title The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is being released for the Wii U eShop today, shortly after the presentation's conclusion. Meanwhile, series spin-off Hyrule Warriors Legends will be receiving a new DLC pack, also available today. The Phantom Hourgalss & Spirit Tracks Pack adds a new character, Toon Zelda, as well as the Sand Wand weapon for Toon Link, a new Adventure Mode map, and more costume items.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past received a short bit of footage to remind RPGamers of the 3DS remake's release on September 16, 2016, with some time given to highlight the 3DS version's traveller's tablets. These will be released periodically, with over fifty in total, and each unlocks a new dungeon with powerful items possibly found inside. The 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, also got a brief mention and currently has its release scheduled for early 2017.

In North America, Yo-kai Watch 2 received a bit of attention. The game will be receiving a demo in mid-September ahead of its full September 30, 2016, release. Yo-kai Watch 2 is also scheduled for release in Europe in spring 2017. Two third-party RPGs also appeared. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse is on course for a September 20, 2016, release in North America, with its European release now planned for sometime this winter courtesy of Deep Silver. Deep Silver will also be releasing 7th Dragon III Code: VFD in Europe this winter, with the game having been released in North America earlier this year.

Finally, the presentation took a quick look a Grezzo's upcoming adventure RPG, Ever Oasis. The game, which was announced during this year's E3, is set for release on Nintendo 3DS next year. Those who wish to watch the full presentations can do so here for North America and here for Europe.
