Koei Tecmo has announced a slew of new information for the upcoming action RPG Nioh. Along with screenshots and a new trailer, more of the content for the game's second public beta have become known.

Opening on the PlayStation Store on August 23, 2016, and closing on September 3, 2016, the Beta Demo for Nioh will once again drop players into the Usuki village stage of the first demo, allowing for a second, and final, chance to unlock the game's "Mark of the Conqueror" DLC. Upon completion, the second stage, Nakatsu, will open. Players who were able to complete the first demo will be able to skip directly to the Nakatsu segment and begin the demo with a set of weapons and more starting money. The Nakatsu stage will take players up the side of a mountain and through a cave crawling with new enemies to fight. Completing this stage will grant players the "Mark of the Strong" DLC, which will launch with the game.

A new stage isn't the only thing the beta is adding. In addition to fan-requested changes to certain aspects of the formula, the demo will also feature a new weapons, from long-range rifles to dual-wielded katanas. Onmyo magic and Ninjutsu abilities will also be available in this demo. After completing both stages, a Twilight mode will unlock, allowing players to replay the stages with increased difficulty and high-powered items. The demo will also begin with a Training Dojo, designed to get players caught up with the katana and how to navigate the world.

Nioh is still set to be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2016.
