The Harvest Moon series has something of a history of offering cute plushie versions of barnyard animals as a preorder bonus, and the upcoming Harvest Moon: A New Beginning is no exception. Currently, anyone who preorders the game from Gamestop will receive the yak seen below. Natsume has stated on its Facebook page that people will be able to get the plushie from "at least one other" source, but they have yet to reveal any details.

Harvest Moon: A New Beginning is the first entry in the series that was designed exclusively for the 3DS, and it focuses on giving players a lot of freedom to customize their character and farm. The game does not have a specific release date yet, but it will come out sometime later this year.
