Sega announced its DLC plans for Valkyria Revolution once the game launches in North America next week, on June 27, 2017. All the pieces of DLC will be free and divided into weekly packs including items and fully-voiced story scenarios:

• Available June 27, 2017:
  Item Pack — Special supplies (inc. a piece of gear that provides 10% XP bonus), two special Ragnite, and Ragnite shards.
  Scenario Pack: Vanargand — Two tales focusing on the troops of the Vanargand, special Ragnite, and Ragnite shards.


• Available July 3, 2017:
  Scenario Pack: The Circle of Five — Three tales focusing on the five main characters that started the war, special Ragnite, and Ragnite shards.
   
• Available July 11, 2017:
  Scenario Pack: The Princess and the Valkyria — Three tales focusing on Princess Ophelia and the crimson-eyed Valkyria, special Ragnite, and Ragnite shards.
   
• Available July 18, 2017:
  Scenario Pack: Maxim and Remembrance — Three tales focusing on Maxim (after which he will become a playable squad member), Amleth, and Hans; special Ragnite; and Ragnite shards.
   

Sega also released a new video where composer Yasunori Mitsuda and vocalist Sarah Àlainn talk about the game's theme song, "Eternal Rest", and its creation. Valkyria Revolution is due to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One in North America on June 27, 2017 and in Europe on June 30, 2017.
