Koei Tecmo has announced that it plans to release an alpha demo for its upcoming action RPG Nioh in North America and Europe. Along with this announcement came a new trailer featuring gameplay from the demo, which will only be available via the PlayStation Store from April 26 to May 5, 2016. Players who complete a stage in the demo will be able to download the Mark of the Conquerer DLC, which can unlock bonus content in the final release.

Nioh is an action RPG that will blend elements of Japan's history and folklore. Players take control of the samurai William in a Japan embroiled in war. The game will release in 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
