Square Enix has opened up the Dirge of Cerberus official site, unveiling more than the splash page that was originally available. Currently, the site plays a loop of background music while surfing its contents. Character bios are available for both Vincent Valentine, main character, and Cait Sith. There are also three wallpapers available at three different resolutions and an info section for the title's release and development team.
While no new details were unveiled for Vincent, Cait Sith's bio unveils what Reeve has been up to since Sephiroth was defeated. He is now working for an organization known as the W.R.O (which was translated as World Reconstruction Organization). Through numerous low means including whining and begging, he convinces Vincent to appear in Kalm for the re-opening festival. This is where Vincent's story begins with some Deep Ground (D.G.) soldiers attacking him. Vincent's past as a turk may currently be shrouded in mystery, but everything will soon be clear.
Dirge of Cerberus currently is scheduled for just a generalized late 2005 release in Japan. As the site opens up new sections, be prepared as RPGamer brings all the details.
