More Companies Announce E3 Titles

Major players in the video game industry, Namco, LucasArts, and Konami, have opened the floodgates and announced the games they plan to showcase a week away at E3. Revealed are a few surprises, a few disappointments, and a few announcements that should surprise absolutely no one.

Suspiciously absent from Konami's list is their upcoming RPG Suikoden IV. Although, Konami plans to compensate by showing off a plethora of new Yu-Gi-Oh games that cover a multitude of platforms. Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum, a strategy RPG for the Playstation 2, Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction, a card game for the Game Boy Advance, Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler, a board game also for the Game Boy Advance, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos Joey the Passion, a card game for the PC will all be on display for Yu-Gi-Oh fans to drool over. Aside from the aforementioned Yu-Gi-Oh titles, Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django, which utilizes an adapter for the Game Boy Advance that absorbs sunlight, is promised to be on the show floor.

Not surprisingly, the upcoming Playstation RPG Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose, the sequel to their 2003 RPG Xenosaga: Der Wille zur Macht will be the feature RPG in Namco's E3 lineup. Gamecube RPGs Baten Kaitos for and Tales of Symphonia will also make their presence known on the show floor.

The force is strong with LucasArts. Their display will feature Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lord, the follow up to the acclaimed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Another Star Wars themed game, Star Wars Galaxies: Jump To Lightspeed, the first expansion for their MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies will be present.

As you can see, there will be a lot to be excited about from these companies at E3. If a full list of games is what you desire, then I'm happy to oblige.
