Sega announced today that the release of the upcoming PS2 port of Skies of Arcadia has been postponed. The game will not see release during the current financial year, which means that the earliest that gamers will see the title is in the spring of 2003. The GameCube version of the game is still on track for release in the current financial year, and a release date announcement is imminent.

Skies of Arcadia is a highly acclaimed swashbuckling RPG, originally developed by Overworks and released for the Dreamcast in 2000. The GameCube port is being handled by US-based Point of View Software.
