Digicube has announced a pre-order campaign for Final Fantasy IX. Starting June 1 and running until June 17, all RPGamers who place an order (in Japan) during this time will recieve a free toy of Vivi, the black mage.
Final Fantasy IX is set for release on July 7th in Japan for 7800¥ ($72 USD). Square has already started the localization process, and is currently set to be released in North America on November 7th. While no goodies have been announced for the US release, Squaresoft has recently acknowledged that North American RPGamers also want goodies, as shown with the current campaign: Summer of Adventure. Count on RPGamer to report on these and other goodies as soon as they become available.
