Sega's standard Dreamcast system has dropped in price in both North America and Japan following Sega's recent announcement to discontinue hardware production. Not surprisingly, Sega's special edition Sakura Taisen Dreamcast system, available only in Japan, will also receive a drop in price from 25800 yen to 14800 yen (about $130).

The special edition Dreamcast features a Sakura Taisen-themed body, controllers, and memory cards. Though the Sakura Taisen Dreamcast system is only available as an import to North American gamers, fans of the series have now been given added incentive to import the special system.
