Final Fantasy IX: Piano Collections To Be Released
Final Fantasy IX

The Final Fantasy Piano Collections have often been the most popular renditions of Nobuo Uematsu's much-acclaimed Final Fantasy soundtracks. The sound of a solo piano playing Nobuo's best can often move listeners' hearts in a different manner than the original soundtracks can. It comes as no surprise, then, that the newest game bearing the Final Fantasy name, Final Fantasy IX, will receive the same treatment as previous games in the series with the upcoming release of Final Fantasy IX: Piano Collections from DigiCube.

Final Fantasy IX: Piano Collections will contain piano renditions of fourteen tracks from Final Fantasy IX, each selected by Nobuo Uematsu. To promote the release of the disc, a party will be held at Yamaha's Ginza branch in Tokyo at 3:00 PM on the 28th of January. The party will include live performances of the songs by Dutch pianist Louis Leerink, along with the option to purchase the CD or its sheet music.
