The general structures of the mix are shown to be very close towards the source in general; however it didn't seem to feel as majestic as once thought in general. The general execution has worked well in general, but given the dynamics I feel some of the segment transitions could have worked a little bit better. Even if it's my first exposure to the music of Dragon Warrior VII I feel that there are a fair amount of flaws granted throughout to be considered a strong piece to stand alone. It also seems to face problems relating to variance on the theme - not only is there none whatsoever, but he also took out a fair amount of components that made the source material shine as a strong track in the game's score. The structure is generally good though, but even they seemed to stick too closely towards the source in general, and its length has also left a fair amount to be desired. So I'm not exactly too fond of the general concept in this one.

Creativity

From what I saw there didn't seem to be much at all that breathed a lot of life into the source, which didn't seem to work too well to make this stand out. There don't seem to be many sections in general, but I can say that it has still worked in providing a close link with the source while providing the general fluency behind that aspect. The pace isn't exactly something to call fresh - seeing what has been provided the general setting of the theme seems to feel a bit "sweet" to be considered a proper battle related portion in itself. However it did benefit from lack of repetition all around, which has worked in providing a more fluent setting in general. But given that in mind it didn't seem to feel too enjoyable in general, and it's for that that I know that this user will in turn provide a more creative scope in the future.

Production

Some of the samples are shown to be well chosen to begin with and have done well to add to the rich texture all around, however I feel that some of which could have easily benefited from expression here. The amount of EQs are very minimal on the bass front, and granted what has been presented here there didn't seem to be much processing in general. I can say the guitar progression was well recorded, but the notes being picked were shown to be at the same strength every time; not quite as energetic as I was looking for. Also within this mixing aspect, the piece has the major problem of its master levels being way too quiet for a creation of its caliber. The panning has managed to improve the stakes slightly given a well balanced set of positions through the sequenced instruments here, but I feel that the electric guitar could have been brought much closer towards the center to provide a better rounded instrument emphasis. Thus, this production setting may have a few short comings along the line, but I see it to be one of the highlights brought around the arrangement. Not bad, but not great either.

You clearly stick heavily to the original material, just I wish you would have done more with it. I mean, what is a rock song without a kickin' solo?

Creativity

Sorry, but there is very little in the creativity department. You have very little variation from the original. Some fresh breakdown material would have improved this remix quite a bit.

Production

The production here needs quite a bit of work. Your mix leaves the guitar flapping in the wind with everything else pushed far into the background.
