2014's Upcoming RPGs

By Alex Fuller, Michael A. Cunningham, & Adriaan den Ouden

So far 2014 has seen a good selection of RPGs, with The Banner Saga, Bravely Default, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Atelier Escha & Logy, Dark Souls II, and Child of Light amongst the highlights. However, we're still far from done, and we at RPGamer are always looking forward to see what's coming up on the horizon. Arguably the biggest part of the year in terms of new releases is yet to come, with August through to December always primed with quality games.

The remainder of the year is scheduled to feature a hefty mix of console, PC, and handheld RPGs. The three of us used a five-round sequential draft to select our top 2014 games yet to release, and provided our reasoning behind the selections. You can find our list of picks and links to the write-ups below, plus some honourable mentions to games that didn't quite sneak into our lists, but are sure to have plenty of takers. Enjoy reading our thoughts, and let us know the games you're most looking forward to on the forums.
