Assumptions can sometimes be our undoing. As RPGamers, we generally speak the same language, have played many of the same games, and all boast profound knowledge of our favourite video game genre. However, because we have such knowledge and experience, we often assume that we know all there is to know about RPG releases past, present, and future. The problem being, we also have an unfortunate tendency to write games off without giving them the proper time of day.

Thankfully, we also have different tastes. Not everyone is going to deliberately avoid the same game and some gamers actively promote and defend titles that would otherwise be written off. That's what this feature is dedicated to — providing a soapbox for a few of the loudest RPGamers to broadcast which often overlooked RPGs should be given a chance. Hopefully, this will spark some some interest in a game you may have ignored in the past. Better still, you can then recommend underrated titles to us.
