In a hurry, you'll have to live without a little intro bit today. Well, maybe a little one. I just snapped a little, and from now on absolutely refuse to print letters that use the letters "r" and "u" in place of the words "are" and "you".

Goog,

Also, does Coke have a deal with Squaresoft? Because all over PE2 there are Coke "ads." The colas (HP/MP recharge) ads in the stores, Soda machines, and even the magnet are Labeled "Coke-a-cola."

Thanks,
2nd Electric

Googleshng:
Ah yes, the time ordered tradition that is Product Placement. Actually, coke has had advertising deals with Square for years it seems. In Japan, there's a bunch of coke commercials with FF characters. So, it's not THAT odd for them to want to fill a game with a real world setting with big red cans of HP/MP restoring goodness.

Stuff
Hey Googs, gots some questions for you, as well as a clarification.

1) Have you ever played Vagrant Story? If so, did you like it? I'm interested in it, but I don't really like dungeon crawlers much... would I like it?

2) After Lunar 2 & FFIX, what other good RPGs are coming up?

And the clarification thing. There WAS one other RPG game on the N64, only released in Japan by Treasure. It was "World Kin" (The Golden World), and was a 2D RPG, sort of a cross between Lunar and Final Fantasy. I believe Famitsu gave it a 39/40, only losing a point for sound quality (of which it actually has voice acting, lots of it).

Many people have claimed that it's way better than Final Fantasy VIII. I haven't tried it, but if you find it, try to pick it up. I hear it's rare.

Thanks! ^_^

Googleshng:
Yes, I have played Vagrant Story. Personally, I hate dungeon crawls, but, as they go, Vagrant Story is pretty good. It's still not good enough for me to play it when there's real RPGs I haven't won lying around, but with nothing else to do, it's kinda fun. Upcoming cool games: Zelda, Zelda, Zelda, Pokémon 2, Arc the Lad trilogy, PSO, and Skies of Arcadia.

Special Problems
Hey Google. I gotta pic for ya. Now I am not gonna tell you to put it on your site or anything, but if you don't I will send out my army of Mutated Pokemon after you. Beware!!! Beware!!! Oh yeah, and this guys name is Freakachu, the end result of evil experiments done by badmonkeys. So remember, this pic, your site, or Army at your doorstep. THanx and have a great day. --------------> Bad monkey signing off<--------------

CC Stuff
Well... actually, I'm also full of a lot of questions about stuff in Chrono Cross like who Magus is that nobody really knows the answer to and printing will just cause endlessly raging debates.

Googleshng:
Yikes!

Xenogears
Hey Goog... I was wondering... in the Xenogears song "Knight of Fire", there's a small interlude where it sounds like someone talking over an intercom, with a simple harp pattern in the background, before resuming its normal pace... I've heard it time and time again, but the other day, I had a revelation- I swear I could make out the words... it sounds like... "Common Sense says to fill the Gas Tank"
And I only realized a minute after the initial realization, that I had already filled the Gas tank to my 2000 Toyota Tacoma... (dramatic pause)!!! What does it all mean? Was Square trying to drive us to a nationwide fuel crisis by trying to convince players that they must keep their gas tanks filled in the name of Common Sense??
Keep up the great work!
-Trav

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. 4 out of 5 nerds agree that it says Sentient Mode Is Capable.

Quickies

Me and my friend were arguing which genre of games make the most money??
Do rpg games make the most money

That question could be interpretted so many ways. A 4-bit coin-op coin op machine sells for a ton of cash, and then makes thousands of dollars for the person who owns it. Whatever the fad genre of the month is (platformers, doom clones, etc.) saturates the market so it's total profits are pretty high...

I don't like saving the world. What RPGs do you suggest?

-Red Raven

Koudelka! Maybe also Vagrant Story, never finished it... and FF6 you kinda fail to save the world...

I liked Parasite Eve 2 more the first time I played it, when it was called Resident Evil.

Me too, but it was called Resident Evil 2.

The new quote is from the 2nd U.S. pokemon movie. Yes, I admit I saw it... it was a lot better than the first!

Morbid Rocket MewThree

Yup, I still say that's cheating, but I couldn't think of a quote myself, so up it went. ~

Nice "Animal Farm" ref in your sig. Followed by the Mario Kart quote in the hidden message.

~JM Stalker

Thanks, but I don't recall a Mario Kart reference...

Can't someone else do it?

These renders from Guifá are too big to post really. Anyway, as I said, I'm in a huge hurry today. Not many real questions, if I missed any, sorry, too many quickies to see them.
