[08/07/2005] Wow, a lot of staff reviews came in this week at the last minute. Sorry to those of you who have reviews in the backlog and didn't get into today's update.
On a similar note, I've noticed a lot of people have been sending in reviews, but getting them rejected on a technicality and then giving up. Just because I have to reject reviews because they use images from another site doesn't mean the review itself is bad. If you have any question, I'm here to work with you, not against you. I don't bite ^^.
Contest info: Otterland still has the lead, but kupomogli is catching up. It's still anybody's game though.
Anyway, time for a mini-impression, though this one won't be very good since I'm only an hour in.
Wild ARMs 3: The opening was pretty well done compared to the other Wild ARMs'. They build in the tutorial while introducing characters in an interesting manner. The mix of the guardians and personal skills seems like a good idea too, especially because personal skills can be adjusted at any time outside of battle now. It's a bit soon to judge, but it seems like it's going to be better than Wild ARMs 2 so far.
That seems pretty short next to the reviews I write, but I guess that's why they're mini impressions ^^;
Michael 'CactuarJoe' Beckett joins the staff this week. Be sure to give him a warm hello.
Until next week...
