MMORPGamer is back from a long time gone.

Hey everyone, I'm a new employee here at RPGamer, Jake Miller, and I'm here to revive the column. It's my first time out of the gate, so let's hope it goes smoothly.

Here goes:

A Wand and Some Tokens for Ten Years of Ultima

Ultima Online

EA has announced new features for subscribers to Ultima Online as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of the MMO. After September 25, players will receive 10 Décor tokens and 1 Wand of Firework in their inventory on login.

Also, EA has announced that several items will be available in the game to fit this occasion. These include: the completed Virtue Armor set, commemorative items such as a Map of Brittania and an Ankh Necklace, weapons owned by notable characters in Britannia's history, among other gifts. For more information, visit the official site.

7,000 Euro for One Night Elf Rogue

World of Warcraft

In World of Warcraft news: Zeuzo, one of the best geared rogues in WoW worldwide, was recently sold for 7,000 Euro. The Night Elf rogue had 4 of 5 pieces of Tier 6 armor, both of the Twin Blades of Azzinoth - Illidan's famous weapons, and several other rare end-game drops.

The character has since been renamed Shaks and was transferred from Sylvanas (EU) to the Kazzak (EU) realm. Rumors have flown back and forth on what has happened since, but most speculators agree that the account has most likely been banned for the sale.

  Tabula Rasa Ready for Release

Tabula Rasa

Tabula Rasa has gone gold, and will launch on October 19, 2007 in North America and Europe. Pre-order customers will be able to play three days ahead of everyone else on October 16th. Also, beta testers can now be bugged for information, as the NDA has been lifted.

The game will come in both the standard and Limited Collector's Edition box for $49.99 and $69.99, respectively. Both will feature the first month free and each month thereafter will cost $14.99. For more information, visit the official site.

Perpetual Entertainment Restructures Gods and Heroes Team

Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising

Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising has been delayed to early 2008 as the developer, Perpetual Entertainment, has laid off 30-40 people. Perpetual says the game's content is complete, but that the game needs to be polished before being released.

The development teams were restructured in order to allow the game to be worked on as a whole, now that the specifics that required specialists are complete. Perpetual has reassigned several of those laid off, and will provide dedicated placement help for all others.

 Log Out

Well, that's all for this week. I don't think it turned out too badly, what do you think? I'm hoping to share this column with readers - if a column about MMOs isn't interactive, it's not worthwhile, in my opinion - so I'd like to invite any comments, ideas, suggestions, jokes, or anything else into my inbox.

Thanks for helping me resurrect the column, and I'll see you next time here at MMORPGamer.

Should be grinding,

Jake Miller (mail me)
