The multiplayer expansion for Final Fantasy XV, Comrades, is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The expansion is available as part of the game's season pass — which also includes access to Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, and the upcoming Episode Ignis — or can be purchased separately for $19.99/€19.99/£15.99.
Comrades lets players control their own customisable character who is a member of the Kingsglaive. Up to four players can join up to explore the world, embark on quests, and take down monsters. Single player levels will also be made available to let players strengthen their Comrades characters. As members of the Kingsglaive, the avatars will be able to equip royal sigils that grant them the powers of the Lucian bloodline, letting players adapt a style to their preference.
In forthcoming Final Fantasy XV releases, the next is another major piece of single-player DLC, Episode Ignis, and is planned for release on December 13, 2017. A VR fishing spin-off, Monster of the Deep, is due out on November 21, 2017, while a PC release of Final Fantasy XV is planned for early 2018 and a mobile Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is set for release later this year.
