Flying Helmet Games recently revealed that the third and final chapter in its episodic RPG Eon Altar will be released on January 19, 2017. Titled Watcher in the Dark, the third chapter will be available on Steam with players requiring the first two chapters — The Battle for Tarnum and Whispers in the Catacombs — in order to play it. Individual chapters are available for $6.99/£4.99/€6.99 or in a single bundle for $14.99/£10.99/€14.99.

Eon Altar is a multiplayer dungeon-crawler that uses the players' own mobile device as controllers. Playing the game requires the installation of a free app through either iOS or Android devices. One copy of the game can have four people access it at once. Once synced, the entire game is played through the device. This setup can allow the game to send hidden messages to specific players and have the players make decisions in secret, allowing for deception. This also allows character management to happen without interrupting other players.
