Sony recently unveiled the first set of titles being created by ForwardWorks, a subsidiary dedicated to creating and releasing mobile games. Amongst the games announced were reboots of two classic RPG franchises: Wild Arms and Arc the Lad. Both titles are being worked on by some members of the original series staff and will feature new stories.

Other mobile releases for RPG franchises were also announced. The company will be teaming up Nippon Ichi Software to release a Disgaea app as well as with Square Enix on an unannounced project. The company will also be supporting Sony's new TCG platform, Project Field, with a title based on Yokai Watch.
