Bandai Namco released its first video for Tales of Berseria to feature the game's English voice acting. The footage, viewable below, is around nine minutes long and showcases a portion of the game's early story. Bandai Namco states that the video contains a spoiler for the game so viewers should beware if they wish to avoid story details before playing the game.

The company also announced both a demo and some digital pre-order bonuses for the game. The demo version will be made available for both PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 4 on January 10, 2017. Those who already own Tales of Symphonia or Tales of Zestiria on Steam will receive a 10% discount on its Steam version, and all Steam pre-orders will grant access to a fifteen-minute skit video. All of those who pre-order on PlayStation 4 will receive an exclusive theme as well as the fifteen-minute skit video and three music tracks.

Taking place in the distant past to the events of Tales of Zestiria, Berseria follows a girl named Velvet, who seeks revenge against her brother-in-law in a world filled with monsters called Daemons. The game will arrive for PlayStation 4 in North America on January 24, 2017, and for PlayStation 4 in Europe and for PC worldwide on January 27, 2017.
