Koei Tecmo has announced that the Japanese release date for Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon has been moved back from December 22, 2016, to February 2017. The company says it is doing so in order to improve the game's quality. To make up for the delay, a new Lily companion will be added, as well as an additional swimsuit costume that can be unlocked for each Lily.

News also arrived about returning characters from the first Nights of Azure. Both the first game's protagonist, Arnice, and the masked demon Christophorus will appear in the game in some capacity. The game is still set to arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in the West at an unspecified time.
