Legrand Legacy

Semisoft, a developer based in Jakarta, Indonesia, has setup a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its upcoming title Legrand Legacy. The campaign is currently underway with the developer looking for £85,000 in funding by December 16, 2016.

Legrand Legacy is inspired by classic JRPGs from the PlayStation-era, feautring 3D models against drawn 2D backgrounds and cinematic CG cutscenes. Combat will be turn-based with an Action Circle Tempo (ACT) system similar to the one found in Shadow Hearts, where timed button presses will empower attacks and abilities. The game will also have strategic elements where players will be able to recruit units to send into battles.

The game is being developed for PC and has a demo version that is available to download through Steam and Gamejolt. Those who pledge at least £15 will receive a digital copy of the game as part of their backer rewards (with £9 and £12 early backer tiers also available in limited quantities). Legrand Legacy is initially planned for around a September 2017 release.
