Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive's newest title, Tyranny, has been officially released. As with most releases, publisher Paradox Interactive has put together a launch trailer for the game, which sets the stage for the story and the player's role within.
In Tyranny, players take control of a Fatebinder, a person of influence and power sent to the land of Tiers to consolidate the Overlord Kyros' power. Players will use that influence to shape the fate of the region. The game is an isometric, real-time-with-pause RPG using a modified version of the Pillars of Eternity system. Tyranny can be bought on PC, Mac, and Linux for $44.99/£34.99/€41.99.
