Diablo 3

During the first day of Blizzcon, Blizzard has announced several new features for Diablo III. The new content will contain a returning class option, a returning dungeon, and an Armory addition that will make selecting different loadouts easier.

The first major announcement was patch 2.4.3, named "The Darkening of Tristram". This patch will take players back to the Tristram of Diablo, where players will be able to explore all sixteen floors of the original game's dungeon and fight all four of the game's bosses. Classic enemies, items, and some new surprises will also be in the dungeon. The patch will roll out and be available throughout January 2017.

The Necromancer was also announced to return in the form of a paid content called "Rise of the Necromancer". The returning class will have many of its staple abilities, such as Corpse Explosion, Bone Spear, and, yes, Skeleton Summoning. No price has been given for the DLC, but beyond the class players will also recieve an in-game pet, two additional character slots, two additional stash tabs (for PC players, and several cosmetic items. Both the base game and the Reaper of Souls expansion will be required for the DLC, which releases sometime in 2017.

Blizzard will also be bringing the Armory to the game. The Armory will grant the ability to store five different loadouts for characters, including skill, passives, items, and gems. This feature will also be arriving in 2017.
