Square Enix has announced that it will be releasing a playable demo for World of Final Fantasy. The demo will be available on the PlayStation Store on October 17, 2016, for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The announcement also came with the game's opening cinematic.

The demo will give an opportunity for players to explore the game in both Lilikin and Jiant forms. Different Mirages and Final Fantasy characters will be able to be encountered in the demo. Those who complete the demo will be able to download the enemy Magitek Armor P to be fought and captured in the full game.

World of Final Fantasy is a traditional RPG set in a universe that contains all of the Final Fantasy worlds. The game is set to release on October 25, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
