God Eater 2: Rage Burst

Following the conclusion of a teaser website countdown, Bandai Namco revealed that both God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are to be released in North America and Europe next year. The games will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. No exact dates have been given at this time, but a new Twitter account for the games states a likely period of summer 2016.

God Eater: Resurrection is the second enhanced remake of the first God Eater game, with the first, Gods Eater Burst, being released for PlayStation Portable in North America and Europe in 2011. Resurrection features a new Predator style of combat, in addition to various graphical improvements, and extra post-game story content that ties into the second game. God Eater 2: Rage Burst is also an enhanced remake, this time of the Japan-only God Eater 2, which was released for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable. The game is set three years after the first game, in a different setting but with some returning characters.

The publisher was not done, however, bringing another localisation announcement in the form of Tales of Berseria. This next mainline Tales game, which is coming to Japan next year for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, will be released in North America and Europe on PlayStation 4 and PC. A trailer for the two God Eater games and the previous trailer for Tales of Berseria now with English subtitles can be seen below.
