The North American release date, as well as some pre-order bonuses, for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth has been revealed. The game will be released in the region for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 on February 2, 2016, with those who pre-order the PlayStation 4 physical edition receiving a set of "useful items" plus a couple of costumes for Agumon, black colour variants of Agumon and Gabumon, and two exclusive Digimon: Beezlebumon (Blast Mode) and Cherubimon.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth's PlayStation Vita version will be available only digitally in North America and Europe, with the release date in the latter not yet confirmed. In Europe, the PlayStation 4 version will be available physically and digitally in Germany, Italy, and the UK, and only digitally elsewhere.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is targeted towards a more mature audience than prior Digimon titles and features a soundtrack from Danganronpa composer Masafumi Takada. The game is set in a world where a digital platform named EDEN operates in parallel to the real world. Companies of all sizes have a presence in EDEN while people can connect digitally and hang out with each other. However, there have been rumours of hackers using programs called Digimon to steal and generally cause trouble in the world.
