Idea Factory International has released a slew of new media for Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, the strategy RPG take on the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Additionally, more detail was was supplied about the game's characters and systems.

New characters don't parody systems but genres themselves. Like Lid, the stealth fan who hides in boxes, or Lee-Fi, a fighting game fan who wears a specific set of button inputs on her bangles. In all, the total playable character count for the game comes to twenty-six. Lily Rank makes a return for the series, a system where using attacks near allies strengthens the relationship between the two. The stronger the relationship, the cheaper the cost for abilities and the more effective they are. Use these abilities enough and you'll the points stored up can be used for special moves and transformations.

Hyperdevotion Noire hits stores in North America and Europe sometime early next year. It is exclusive to PlayStation Vita.
